Deli Gleba was born in 1989, in Porto, Portugal. Currently lives in Berlin, where develops her work - both individually and in collaborative project platforms. The artist, also performer, works within several research fields, which are later adapted to very unique and personal way of materializing ideas and concepts. The work of Deli walks in a fragil line separating two distinct worlds: in one hand, a social world where beliefs collide in a post industrial crises; in the other hand, a world of an hypothetic balance in nature.
Through the direct observation of pure organisms, Deli creates imaginary visions and new scapes (landscapes). Influenced by themes such as Holism and Reductionis, Deli's work presents a unique approach towards detail, and a bizarre, but rigorous, documentation method.
In the last years, the artist has been showing her work around Europe, mainly in Portugal, Germany and Poland, having recently passed by Canada and USA. Among several collaborations, Deli worked with Discoteca Flaming Star and more recently, with the artists GrawBoeckler, in the 'Speaking Synchronously' project which was exhibited, in the end of 2014, in the KW - Institute dor Contemporary Art, and in the beggining of 2015, within CTM, in the Bethanien Kunstraum, both in Berlin. Since 2012 develops the project YLEM in collaboration with Gil Delindro.
